James will be participating on Industry Day where he will be conducting a workshop for Writing for Children.

James is a freelance writer, developer and creator for children’s television, specialising in pre-school, with credits on hit shows like Hey Duggee!, Pip and Posy and Dennis & Gnasher: Unleashed. He lives in East Lothian, was born in London, and spent his 20s working as a children’s entertainer.

In his workshop ‘Writing for Children’, James will show that writing for young audiences isn’t as easy as it might seem, with tips on everything from finding story ideas to writing dialogue to starting a career.
