Kristof is participating in our Emerging Talent day where he will be giving a talk on Animation Mechanics (22/02/23, student only). He will also be giving a talk on Animation techniques on our Industry Day (23/02/23).

After training at Gobelins and Beaux-Arts de Paris, Kristof Serrand began his animator career in the early 80s, working with Paul Grimault, and on the Asterix feature films at the Gaumont studios.In 1989 he moved to London to join Amblimation, the new Steven Spielberg studio, then participated in 1995 in the creation of DreamWorks.He worked on about 20 feature films, as supervisor or directing animator (The Turning Table, The Prince of Egypt, Spirit, Dragons … )He has also been a teacher in various schools including Gobelins, and contributed for thirty five years, to the training and recruitment of many talents. After 25 years in Los Angeles, he returned to Paris in 2020 and is currently working as animation supervisor at Netflix.
