Look Development: From Illustration to Screen
“Hannah Wong & Lisa-Mae Evans from Blue Zoo’s Look Development team will take the audience through an explanation of the Look Development process and how Blue Zoo translate an established IP from illustration to a CG TV series.”

Lisa-Mae Evans, a Visual Effects graduate from the University of Hertfordshire, is a Junior Look Development Artist at Blue Zoo Animation in London.

During her time at University, Lisa-Mae spent a summer interning at Peerless VFX and, the following year, completed the DNEG Greenlight Internship Program as a 3D/CFX Artist.

Shortly after graduating, Lisa-Mae joined the Look Development Team at Blue Zoo,┬áresearching and developing surfacing techniques for use across both commercials and productions. Along with 5 other artists in the team, Lisa-Mae’s focus is primarily on translating key visual styles from 2D into 3D through the development of shader libraries, streamlining existing surfacing workflows and a fair amount of experimentation to discover new ones!

Alongside her work, Lisa-Mae is proudly a mentor for Access:VFX and regularly takes part in outreach with the UH Animation Course.
