Richard Scott

Richard is a former designer turned founder, CEO, board member, and advisor to creative businesses. In 2024, Richard founded Utility Vehicle to advise and support creative, animation, VFX, and post-production founders and managers, helping them develop strong projects, teams, and strategies so they can build lasting, successful studios.

In 2000, Richard co-founded Axis Studios, and as CEO, he led vision, creative strategy, executive leadership, and key creative relationships. He has executive produced on a wide range of acclaimed animated projects, including Lost In Oz (Emmy Award, Amazon), Kiss Me First (RTS Award, Channel 4/Netflix), Love, Death & Robots (Netflix), Secret Level (Amazon), Scrooge: A Christmas Carol (Netflix), and Eyes of Wakanda (Annie Award nominee, Marvel / Disney+)
