Jacques Bock is an executive producer and co-owner of Motif Studios, with over 15 years’ experience working across film, television, animation, and visual effects. 

Born on a farm near Cape Town, he took a roundabout route into the industry — beginning in banking and law before helping establish Motif Studios in Cape Town. Today, Motif operates between South Africa and the UK, with credits including Mad Max: Fury Road, Eye in the Sky, Grimsby, Escape Room, and Disney+’s Kizazi Moto anthology.

Jacques is pleased to be part of MOVE Summit 2026, where he’ll share honest insights into running an indie studio and navigating a changing industry.
