Johnny is a multi‑award‑winning animation director, writer and producer with 23 years’ experience in the animation industry and over 100 productions to his credit. Currently Creative Director and CEO of Flickerpix Animations in Northern Ireland, he began his career with the acclaimed series On The Air, winner of the RTS Comedy Award. His work spans CGI, 2D and stop‑motion, with credits including Hop n’ Zip, Rita, Five Fables, Zig n’ Zag, Luna in Dreamland, and the internationally celebrated shorts Macropolis, Da Humbug and One Track Mind.  His productions appear on platforms such as CBeebies, Disney+, RTÉ Junior and Sky, and he is currently seeking partners to collaborate with Flickerpix on his first feature film. Johnny is also an annual judge and guest speaker for the Cinemagic film festival, and a keen musician and composer in his spare time.
