Andy heads the television team within the Certification Unit at the BFI. The team assesses and certifies projects as British, under the cultural test or as an official co-production, in order to access the UK’s screen sector tax credits. The unit provides guidance on accessing the tax credits for film, animation, children’s TV, high-end TV and videogames. Andy works closely with key stakeholders in Government and industry, as well as speaking at events to help promote the creative industry tax credits and to give guidance on eligibility and the application process.
