Jo is leading a talk with Massimo Fenati on Quentin Blake’s Box of Treasures; The Art of Imperfecting on Thursday 22nd. In this talk, Eagle Eye Drama and BBC discuss the challenges of creating 6 half-hour animated TV specials adapted from the work of Quentin Blake.

Jo is also participating in our dedicated Business@MOVE Meet the Commissioners 1:1s on Thursday 22nd and the Commissioners: What We’re Looking For panel on Friday 23rd.


Jo is a Commissioning Executive for CBBC, focussing on Animated content. Her role is to assess submissions, develop projects and work as Executive Producer on commissions for the channel.

Jo has over 30 years of experience in the animation industry.  She worked for more than ten years as a Producer at Aardman on titles such as ‘Morph’, ‘Angry Kid’, the Bafta winning ‘Pearce Sisters’ and Academy award nominated ‘Wat’s Pig’, before joining the BBC where she has produced the Bafta nominated ‘Go Jetters’ and been the BBC Executive for Emmy nominated  children’s series ‘Dennis & Gnasher Unleashed’ and ‘Ninja Express’. She is currently Executive Producer on her third series of ‘Boy, Girl, Dog, Cat, Mouse, Cheese’ and the ’Quentin Blake’s Box of Treasures’ animated half hour specials.
